Meet Jennifer Brown!

Jennifer Brown has worked with children for fifty years and read an uncountable number of children’s books. She was a stay-at-home mom, ran a daycare, worked as a teacher’s aide, and spent twenty years as a nanny after her children left home.

Her time with children didn’t end there! Jennifer also volunteered with 4-H, a rural-based youth development organization, as well as at Sunday school and children’s clubs. She prefers reading over watching TV, and libraries are one of her favourite places. In her free time Jennifer enjoys running, and has run many marathons and half-marathons. She’s passionate about handcrafts, including baking and knitting, and loves to share what she makes with neighbours and friends.

Jennifer lives in Edmonton, Alberta, with Robert, the love of her life. They share three adult children and two amazing grandboys.
